The automatic biscuit sandwiching machine is an auxiliary equipment for biscuit production lines, designed to insert cream, jam, chocolate, or other fillings between two baked biscuits. This equipment is widely used for producing sandwich biscuits such as Oreo-type cream biscuits, chocolate-filled biscuits, jam biscuits, and other sandwich snacks. With a high degree of automation, precise control, and stable performance, it is an essential machine for industrial biscuit factories and commercial bakery production.
Working Principle
Mechanism: Biscuits are accurately fed into the sandwiching unit using either pneumatic devices or robotic arms. Pneumatic push rods move biscuits from the inlet to the designated position, while robotic arms can flexibly pick and place biscuits directly from conveyor belts.
Positioning System: To ensure biscuits align correctly, sensors, positioning slots, or pins are used. The sensor feedback adjusts the feeding mechanism via PLC, ensuring biscuits are precisely placed for sandwiching.
Core Mechanism: The sandwiching module consists of pistons and pressure plates, driven by pneumatic systems or electric motors.
Filling Process: Once biscuits are in position, the piston pushes a controlled amount of filling (cream, jam, chocolate, peanut butter, etc.) between two biscuits.
Adjustable Filling: Filling amount is controlled by piston stroke, air pressure, or PLC settings. Advanced models include precision metering devices for highly uniform filling.
Result: Each biscuit has a consistent, stable sandwich layer, ensuring high-quality products.
Mechanism: After sandwiching, biscuits are discharged using pneumatic suction cups or robotic arms, transferring them onto a conveyor belt.
Next Steps: Finished biscuits may proceed directly to packaging machines, or go through cooling and inspection systems before packaging. Compatible with automatic bagging, flow wrapping, or carton packing lines.
